Comtek and PWC have entered into a long term purchase agreement for the serial production of composite and hybrid structures.
(FEBRUARY 21, 2013 - BURLINGTON, ONTARIO) Comtek Advanced Structures and Pratt & Whitney Canada have entered into a long term purchase agreement for the serial production of composite and hybrid structures for various Pratt & Whitney Engines.
Composites offer many advantages including structural weight reduction, fatigue and corrosion resistance and lower life cycle costs for aircraft operators. Both Comtek and P&WC are committed to offering the highest quality products to their customers and will do so by providing innovative composite solutions.
